Energy Leadership Accelerator launched

The inaugural Energy Leadership Accelerator launched with 20 fellows in January. Fellows are local leaders working on energy projects in their communities. The program is an innovative cross-regional leadership network designed to connect and elevate energy leaders from remote, islanded communities.

Applications open: UA Teacher Internship Scholarship

The University of Alaska is providing scholarships to those interested in becoming certified teachers for Alaska. This is the third year of the UA Teacher Internship Scholarship, which covers tuition and fees at UA Schools of Education as well as a stipend of up to $10,000 to offset living expenses during the critical full-time internship. Apply by April 15, 2025.

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity seeks volunteer reviewers for the 2025 Research and Creative Activity Day, an undergraduate research and creative project symposium. Faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, research staff, graduate students and staff members from all disciplines are invited to volunteer to provide comments and constructive feedback for presenters who opt-in for review.
